HBO confirms they will offer a free broadcast of We Are One, a commemorate concert that will take place in Washington as part of the inauguration of our 45th President Barack Obama.

Bob Iger will officially succeed Herb Scannell as head of Bally in April. With Iger now the owner of the NFL Broncos, this will restore Bally's previous ties to our region with its Namco division having saved the NHL Rockies from relocation in the early Eighties.

Sam Register announced several confirmations on Paramount's official YouTube channel. Firstly, as was previously rumored, Reese Witherspoon will voice Elle Woods in an upcoming Tom and Jerry/Legally Blonde crossover. Second, John Travolta will reprise his role in a crossover with Grease. Thirdly Tom Cruise and Val Kilmer will each reprise their respective characters for a Tom and Jerry crossover with Top Gun.

"The first week that Tiffany took control of the franchise from her dad, it was Ace Bailey our head of pro scouting [1] who recommended that Tiff hire me to succeed Al Coe. As soon as I got here, I met with Tiff and she basically told me that I could sign any player I wanted as long as they were coachable and team-oriented."

"Brian Murray had already won the first two cups for San Diego in 2001 and '03. But after they missed the playoffs in 2004, Walt Jr. abrupty fired Murray. Walt, I learned later, was hospitalized that same year with hypertension. That, and the threat of potential buyers trying to move the team out of San Diego, was why he gave the franchise to Tiffany even though she was barely graduating college by that point. One of Tiff's first acts was to replace Al Coe with Brian Burke. She knew she needed a head coach, but she wanted one that was already a proven winner as a bench boss. When I came to interview with Tiff I explained to her about my experience having led the Manitoba Moose to a couple of Turner Cups in the IHL and she hired me right away."

When Nate Kaeding missed a field goal that could've won the game for San Diego, Donovan McNabb and the Eagle offense took over from their own five yard line. After McNabb marched the Eagles down the field, Andy Reid called his last time out as the game clock began to wind down.

Legendary CEO Rachel Stone-Abbott agrees to pay Columbia-TriStar $120 Million USD to buy out the remainder of Blanche Boudreaux's contract with Nelvana. Also included in the deal is Columbia-TriStar's 42% stake of the rights to Boudreaux's weekly PBS series Cartooning Made Easy, plus the marketing and merchandising rights to her troubled passion project Silent X. This comes after a 2006 incident in which a videographer for the tabloid website allegedly shot footage of Tiffany getting her diaper changed in the locker room during a Mighty Ducks/Kings game at the Staples Center.

Blanche Boudreaux's first stint working with the Abbotts (1998-2000)

Daniel and Rachel Stone-Abbott both gave Blanche her first job in animation. It was in June of 1998. Disney had just released Mulan and Blanche, then known by her birth name Blanche St. Pierre, had just graduated high school and went straight to work with Danny at 20th Century-Fox, where he was the executive producer of The Backstreet Project. For Blanche, it was almost destiny that she got to work on that show. During Gus's time at Nickelodeon, he introduced AJ McLean and Nick Carter to his younger sisters many years earlier. Basically, Blanche's contributions to The Backstreet Project contained Earl Ghoulman, a villain based on then-manager Lou Pearlman, plus many jabs at rival boy bands ("N-Stink" and "98 Diseases") and artists from other genres who had publicly dissed the BSB.

Other than the Backstreet Project, she animated Daphne in the Dragon's Lair movie and animated Kida in Atlantis: The Lost Empire.

Of course, towards the end of 2000, after her Uncle Andre died from diabetes complications, Blanche moved to Atlanta to work for Butch Hartman on the Fairly Odd Parents.

Initially, New Line Cinema offered What's with Andy? to Blanche. She turned it down because she wanted Gus to voice Andy, but New Line told her that Ian Corlett had already been cast for the part. Again, New Line only had distribution rights to Andy during this period, but gained full custody later when CineGroupe and DiC were consolidated into New Line Animation.

Blanche on Atlanta: "Each year the Saints came to town to play the Falcons, I didn't feel comfortable going to the Georgia Dome by myself. Luckily, Del was able to join me one year since she and Luz happened to be on tour during the season."

Around 2003, she moved back to California to join Paramount on Arthur. Then in '05 she went to Warner Bros. to work on a Berenstain Bears series for the now-defunct MyTV.

It was on three occasions that Amy tore into Blanche in front of male co-workers for having her 'whale tail' sticking out of her pants. After the third time, Blanche pretty much bundled up, even in the hot Southern California weather. She couldn't take it anymore."

Todd Bertuzzi leaves the Vancouver Canucks and is on his way to the Tennessee Titans in exchange for Jordin Tootoo and a 2011 2nd round pick.

In Oakland, a special ballot approves a new ballpark for the A's, slated to be the centerpiece of a revitalization of Jack London Square. The target date for the new park's opening will likely be after the 2013 All Star break.
