I have long wanted to discuss this topic. Let's say Aegon the Conqueror is transported with all his domain (before the conquest of Westeros) in 336 BC, to the Black Sea, not far from modern Constantinople (north-east). How will the local population react to his dragons? Greeks, Persians, Egyptians? What might his state look like? What religion will he adopt/create? Will he accept Zoroastrianism and reformat it to fit his dynasty?
P.S Dragons, and to a lesser extent Targaryens, are generators of magic. The more of both, the more magic will penetrate the world. But it will not be strong and only those who have at least a drop of Targaryen blood can use it.
