  1. HMS Invincible

Good work. Been absent for a while and just caught up. Sounds like both sides managed to impale themselves on the other’s guns.
  2. Why didn't Britain execute IRA members for treason in the 1970s and 1980s?

I'd like to think it's because we are more civilised now, having learned from the mistakes we made and crimes we committed in the past.
  3. HMCS Rainbow meets Titanic

Rainbow was also 130 men under her full crew capacity so additional space in mess decks. They could crowd people in for a few hours at least.
  4. No W-An Alternate 2000s TL

I've joined this party late and am enjoying it so far, but why did you have to kill Arthur C. Clarke?
  5. HMCS Rainbow meets Titanic

Also if you are thinking that the sinking without huge loss of life would still lead to safety improvements then you're likely to be disappointed. It would probably be treated like the Republic sinking and show that the ships sink slowly enough for help to arrive.

  10. A Commonwealth Union.

To be honest if you are talking about this immediately post war the Dominions have only been sovereign nations since 1931-ish so they would likely see attempts to create a Commonwealth Federation as Britain trying to get power back over them.
  11. AHC Argentina wins the Falklands War

But would they? Given the heavy loss of life and shipping losses would the UK public say stop getting our boys killed for some unknown islands or would the blood be up and it be vengeance at any cost? Could Britain bring enough diplomatic pressure to bear to put the financial pressure on Argentina?
  12. AHC Argentina wins the Falklands War

I would have thought that pilots capable of riveting the ships with cannon fire would have been able to hit them with rockets.
  13. A Commonwealth Union.

I have a feeling that the postwar British government would have problems backing a new currency and that shifting everyone onto Sterling would lead to a devaluation.
