DBWI Atilla the Hun had been defeated after the Battle of the Catalaunian Plains

What if Atilla the Hun had been defeated in the decisive Battle of the Catalaunian Plains, which lead to the collapse of the Western Roman Empire and the Visigoths both? What if instead Aetius and Theodoric had managed to force the Huns into retreat? How would western civilization be different today, considering that the Huns moved in whole-scale to southern Europe and subsumed the Romans, eventually invading the Vandals and spreading their power into England?

Overwhelming the Eastern Empire is unlikely, unlike the west the east was still at the height of its power with huge supplies of money and soldiers to fight. Attila would likely have just broken his armies repeatedly against Constantinople's walls.
