DBWI: Nelvana' s Doctor Who never gets made

I found today The Doctor who animated series almost never happened.
I started think how different the franchise would.
What's your ideas ?

Well, it probably wouldn't have the massive appeal it has today. I mean, it IS the animated spin-off that got the show popular with more than just the sci-fi geeks, and the facts that a lot of the aspects of the animated series got carried over to the OG series as technology got better only helps.

There definitely would not be the Jo Grant Adventures and U.N.I.T .

Honestly I'm just glad the cartoon was made, not only because of how good it was, but also because I fear what might've happened if they didn't. I mean, what COULD they have done? The characters from Happy Days travelling through time!?
