Henry VIII’s earlier annulment

What if Henry VIII decided to effectively ask for the annulment of his wedding to Catherine of Aragon at the end of 1514?

What kicks off the change? Does he have an earlier bastard? Do he and Catherine quarrel?
In OTL he was seriously thinking to do that (Henry was really angry for the betrayals of Catherine’s father and willing to go fully in the French camp leaving Catherine and remarry to Renee of Bourbon). Here simply Louis XII lived longer and had children by Mary Tudor so Henry followed his plan.

Gotcha. A more allied France and England will have a lot of interesting ripples.

Exactly. I have made also another scenario with the same POD (but Louis XII dying as OTL prompting Henry to renew the Habsburg alliance, replacing Catherine with Eleanor and with Mary remarrying to Maximilian I)

What happens to Catherine of Aragon, does she return to Spain and become Regent for her nephew Charles V when he’s not there? Or is she remarried for some other alliance by her father?

Catherine is already 30 and had no surviving child so she would definitely NOT remarry. She will go back to Aragon and likely will later return in Castile
