A while ago I made a thread about what if Bethesda didn't buy Fallout but I have a new Bethesda thread.
What if Bethesda never made the Microsoft deal and Morrowind flopped. This will obviously kill Bethesda.
I remember learning about this a while ago but Todd Howard and Bill Gates had a bet, will the PC or Xbox perform better. Apparently Todd barely won the bet but only after the release of the Goty edition, before that Bill was winning by a landslide.
Now a few things need to be stated.
1) Ubisoft will obviously buy Bethesda. At the time they had a partnership going back to the company's beginning
2) Bethesda is dead
3) the Xbox loses one of it's core titles
4) Ps2 still won't get Redguard
What are the long term effects of these
