Much stronger German army

What, in your opinion, would be the effect on the war if the German armed forces had been as large, and as well armed as the late 1930's French and British governments said they were

Aside from the question of how they'd achieve this given their economic and industrial limitations, there'd be a good chance the Germans'd lose the war earlier. The Blitzkrieg approach and the emphasis on speed were born not least from an acute awareness that the military could perform extremely well *briefly*, but not sustain prolonged operations. Give the German general staff the strategic depth that conventional wisdom says a big war requires, and there's a fair chance they'll use conventional wisdom to fight it. It could nix the German-Soviet pact if Hitler didn't think he needed the extra safety. The new tactical doctrine would still be around, obviously, so I wouldn't expect the Allies to just roll up the Rhine frontier and waltz in (as they could have OTL, had they known) but even if the wehrmacht still conquers France (which they might not if they call back the tank columns because it's too much of a gamble), the Balkans campaign, North Africa and Barbarossa all look like bad ideas from the POV of someone who can fight traditionally.
