Well, looking at the British Raj, I do think they'd likely divide it up among the larger princely states, based on region and so on, especially based on loyalities, organizations and the like. Now granted, I'm not most knowledgable of the area, but could give it a shot.

  • Dominion of the Punjab: Likely a successor to the old Sikh Empire and done out of the British's respection for them. Could inculde Sindh as Punjab-Sindh Dominion.
  • Dominion of Mysore: Give them alot of the southern land, the one south of Hyderabad. Being as big as the old Kingdom of Mysore, plus some of the eastern land so the whole tip goes to them. I imagine that help ensure a strong deal of loyalty.
  • Dominion of Hyderabad: Like Mysore, go and give them the surrounding land for loyalty there. Probably having the OTL of Hyderabad plus more over and at least a port to the west.
  • Dominion of Gwalior: north of Hyderabad and definitely encompassing a fair bit of the Ganges I think. Them having alot of the Central Provinces though not sure if they reached Nepal.
  • Dominion of Rajputana: Probably formed from a bunch of those other states and put into on family, with them between Punjab-Sindh and Gwalior. Probably a successor to the Baroda State there.
  • Dominion of Myanmar: Kinda self-explanatory and like OTL
For some more nebulous ones?
  • Dominion of Bengal-Assam: A combination of OTL Bangladesh and the Indian states east of it. While could just Bengal, could also account for Assam as most of it is the same language area there. Alternately Bengali and Assam could be split into two dominations if size permits.
  • Maybe an Odisha state? Depends on above. After all, looking at the map, Bengali has a fair bith of that land seperated from Assam.

So about 7-8 Dominions formed from British India more or less.
I could see the Princly States and smaller regions agreeing, even more so the British, who then have to worry less about one giant India to dominate most of the Imperial Federation, I like it.

Could we also get a breakdown of Soviet population as of 1927, with numbers of how many people of a given nationality live in USSR - so basically a census
Similar to OTL, much more immigrants and workers, mainly those numbers mentioned before, as well as no losses thanks to the Holodomor, so around 1,100,000 people more not counting most likely a little higher birth rates. In total I would say 1,200,000 people more, most of those Ukrainians surviving TTL, as well as German, Hungarian and other immigrants (many of those were pro socialist and communist to begin with).

One more question - what is the list of countries with largest economy/industrial sector as of 1927? My estimation is as follows:

1. United States
2. British Imperial Federation
3. Germany
4. USSR
5. France
6. China
7. Japan
8. Italy
9. Netherlands

Am i correct with my assumption, or not what do you think?

That should be about right, not quit sure if USA or BIF would be 1 or 2, or 2 and 1 completely.

Last question about internal situation of USSR - how is the situation with corruption within CPSU and USSR? Is this a big problem or is everything under control?
It could be better, as we are not as ruthless in cracking down on any opposition or dissident group within then OTL USSR, so there are some overall larger issues TTL, especialy thanks to internal groups like Trotzky and Stalin Followers as well.

Other thing - Im curious, theoretically speaking if China decided to invade Mongolia and Soviet Far East, who would win such conflict in Asia - China or USSR?

Russia if firepower is of importance, China because of shorter supply lines and larger reinforcement rates, much would therefore depent on overall local battle outcomes and who commands such engagements against one another.

British Imperial Federation Dominions and Soviet German and Jewish SSR

The British Imperial Federation, made up of the United Kingdom, as well as the Dominions of Canada, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Egypt-Sudan, East Africa (Tanyanika and others), West Africa (Nigeria and others) Pakistan, Mysore, Punjab, Hyderabad, Rajputana, Bengal, Assam, Burma, Odisha/ Orissa, Burma, Malaya especially divided the former British Raj into much more Dominions, then the All Indian Congress and the pan-Indian Hindu/ Hindi Hindustani/ Hindian Nationalists and Religious movements would have liked. However with the backing of the support of all majorly White Dominions, as well as the ones were non-Indian Aryans and non-Hindi Buddhists, Christians, Mohammedans (later called Muslim), Sikh, Jains, Dravidians and Burmese made up the local majority, the British managed to get the British Imperial Federation to divide up the British Raj into much smaller, much less political, economical and military influential dominions, which also keep overall influence and control more direct in British and European Descendant hands overall and keep the other former British Raj Dominions sided with the British against any potential Pan-Indian, Pan-Hindu ambitions of the Indian Hindu Republic along the Ganges River. Meanwhile the Soviet Union itself was also changing, creating the Wolga German SSR with the capital of Pokrovsk were nearlyall ethnic Germans inside the Soviet Union were soon resettled, as part of the Srednyaya Aziya Federation Socialist Soviet Republic (SAFSSR) and the Jewish Hebrew SSR with the capital Odessa out of the Bessarabian (Modlovan) border lands they had forced the Romanians to give up with political, economic and military pressure. This way the new border lands to the majorly important Romanian Oil Fields would be resettled with most Jews and Hebrews within the Soviet Union.

Not much to vote here this week, but a little more detail on the British Imperial Federation of Dominions and the newest SSR's.
Okay, so how do all these Dominions look like and how is Pakistan then ITTL? Just Sindh and Balochistan?
Kind of like this; black lines in between them:
BIF.jpg

Pakistan has Balochistan, parts of Sindh, parts of Punjab, the Northwestern Frontier Province and Gilgit. Tried to follow ethnic, cultural and religious lines of larger groups as best as possible without making it a total Holy Roman Empire mess, might not be perfect. Majorly White Dominions in Southern Africa are all part of a Greater South Africa, while the rest is part of East Africa, Egypt-Sudan or West Africa (Nigeria and such).

Yeah, it’s difficult to tell and I was still surprised you made a Pakistan. Not what I would’ve done, but tis your timeline after all! :)

It's more for name recognition and because the Pakistan Muslim movement for unification was rather strong there, especialy in opposition to a indipendent Hindu Indian dominated Raj) so while it is smaller then OTL I felt that the rest would stay together even more so because ofexactly that, pan Indian-Hindu ambitions and allready being more divided, then their original Pakistan ideal was.
