And here's my mother's family's tartan, that I just discovered. I wasn't aware that we were a sept of the Douglas clan, who does have a legitimate tartan. But here it is.

Any chance of doing some custom tartans? Like for micronations? I know you all would love the challenges!

Hopefully this isn't stepping on Vulcantrekkie45's toes but I have made my own attempt at "weaving" a tartan based on VT's method as described on page two or three of this thread.

Specifically the ones that are part of the LoM

I'm not really familiar with any of the members of the LoM, but you can definitely have a go if you like.

And no toe stepping was involved in the making of that tartan, Orioes. Is it a custom one, or an OTL weave?

Could someone please do a tartan for my micronation, the Union of Tyras and Sueb? I know it might be much to ask...

Colours are muted gold, red, blue and white. Consider this a contest if you want, I just really want to continue to expand my micronation and make her more interesting...

OTL, done by Scotland's only native Rabbi. There are also Sikh and Chinese ones I'll be trying my hand at.

Screwed up on the post, so here it is now...

Bump. I've found a good interactive weaver on Scotweb that generates an image of the tartan in question that makes it look like an actual fabric, despite the fact that it hasn't been woven in real life. So, here's a screenshot of Orioes' Jewish tartan woven on that online weaver. Enjoy!
